Bentley to showcase 2013 Continental GT Speed at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Bentley Motors Limited, the British luxury automaker has announced to roll out the fastest ever Bentley model, new Continental GT Speed coupe after its international debut at the upcoming 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed commencing from 28th June to 1st July 2012.

The grand touring coupe will be the car maker’s flagship performance model apt for speed enthusiasts, who expect a GT car to sport luxury with high-end performance, frisky handling and signature Bentley design aesthetics.

The new Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe is loaded with an upgraded iteration of the company’s 6 litre, twin turbocharged W12 engine, capable of churning out a maximum power of 625 PS at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 800 Nm with an overall stormy performance delivery. It can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph speed in a meagre 4.2 seconds and can attain a top speed of 205 mph (329 km/h).

With eight-speed automatic transmission, updated steering and suspension systems, sturdily elegant exteriors and use of finest natural materials in the hand crafted cabin featuring Mulliner Driving Specification, the new Continental GT Speed perfectly blends thunderous performance with luxurious appeal. The bookings for the car are open while deliveries will be made from October 2012.
