Bajaj Launches New Platina 125 cc in the Indian market
Bajaj Auto claims to give the best biking experience for customers in India. In line with its efforts to offer the best bikes, Bajaj has launched new Platina 125cc at a price of Rs. 36,660 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The new Platina features an electric start and 5-speed gear box apart from its other features. The bike has also undergone some cosmetic changes and gets brand new body graphics. It delivers 8.5PS of peak power at 7000rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. The existing version of Bajaj Platina developed 9.5PS of peak power and 10.85Nm of peak torque. Although the bike may look as if it has been toned down, another upgrade is that the new 5-speed manual gearbox replaces the existing 4-speed gearbox in the new model.
“The new bike makes for easy commuting even on rough roads and provides amazing value for money,” adding “we believe this offering would reinforce our presence in the entry level bike segment,” said S Sridhar, Bajaj Auto Ltd CEO (Two Wheeler).
