Bajaj Discover 100cc Ready for Launch

Bajaj Auto is ready to launch the 100cc model of Bajaj Discover on July 27. “Our 100 cc ‘Discover’ will compete with Splendor and Passion,” Bajaj Auto two wheeler CEO, S Sridhar said. “We are launching this 100 cc bike with DTS-Si. This 100 cc bike will give a mileage of 80 km per litre and run for 100 km in a day.”

According to Sridhar, the new model will be geared towards long distance rides and promises a host of advantages to the riders over other models. "The biggest benefit that the 100cc Discover will is a high fuel efficiency, way beyond any existing 100cc bike. Comprehensive road tests indicate a mileage of 80 kmpl under actual driving conditions," he said. Bajaj credits twin spark technology, a new combustion chamber and a 5-speed gear box for this,” he said.

Bajaj Auto was earlier planning to exit the 100cc segment, which accounts for the highest motorcycle sales. Regarding the 100cc model of Discover, there are no confirmed reports as yet about the final price but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 42,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. Bajaj intends to reach its target of selling 200,000 units each month of which it expects to sell 40,000 units of its new Discover 100cc model. An entry level 100cc bike priced around Rs. 35,000 sells around 100,000 units each month in India.

Bajaj Discover 100cc is best bike. i want this type of bike. now disc break is added. if u add digital clock on speedometer on lcd display. it is far better to see time on driving in day or night. if it can possible then no other bike compare to this one. I m waiting to buy this kind of bike in new year ............ pls launch it...........

Its interesting to know that Bajaj had mocked at 100 cc segment in their ad on Bajaj XCD but on contradictory they returned to 100 cc segment.Its a tactical error in making the advertisement.

this bike....is ok tats all....frnd...... it dosent have disk break andal.....ok.... by brother is going to buy that bike......its mileage is only 70 starting......then it can reduce frnd..... soo....you better get a test drive and buy ok........i drived tat bike its nice but i dont like tat bike without disk break
