Audi A7 to Debut at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010

02 January, 2010, 10:10 IST by Satish Kalepu

German car maker Audi is planning to introduce its new sportsback luxury sedan model of A7 at the Delhi Auto Expo. The car will not enter the Indian market this year but is slated for an official launch next year. Audi A7 is a luxury sedan with sporty outlook. The car carries the looks of Mercedes CLS with 4-door option. The car will attract a small premium of existing A6 saloon.

Audi A7 Sportsback model was first introduced at the 2009 North American Auto Show. It is regarded as a preview of how the Audi A5 Sportsback model would look, and of the Audi A7. The A5 model was launched in July 2009 but A7 model has been postponed till August 2010.

“Close on the heels of its Centennial Celebrations, Audi travels to the past, present and future via its tripartite display of a historical car, the Audi India product range and a concept car, symbolising the future at the Auto Expo,” said press release from Audi India.

Audi will also be unveiling its new logo at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010 that speaks about evolution of the four rings that symbolize Audi’s key message: Vorsprung durch Technik. The new logo was designed as a centennial celebration of Audi.
