2010 Mitsubishi Outlander Arrives in India
Mitsubishi has introduced its 2010 Outlander in India without much fanfare. The car has undergone minor cosmetic changes but no advancement in terms of technology or the core design structure. It features aggressive styling having a classy front looks. Front design of the new Outlander display upgraded roof rails, door minors with integrated turn lights, new front grille and head clamp cluster. The overall design cues reflect inspirations from Outlander GT Prototype that was showcased at the New York International Auto Show last year.
The rear design still remains the same along with its power train. The current model of Mitsubishi Outlander is driven by 4-cylinder in-line 2.4L petrol engine delivering 167 bhp and max 23kgm of torque.
The new face lifted SUV costs Rs. 23.58 lakh (on-road Mumbai) which is cheaper by Rs. 60,000 than its predecessor. It is also cheaper by at least Rs. 2 lakh than its main competitor Honda CRV. A price difference like this can certainly enable Mitsubishi to regain its position in its segment.
