- Volvo XC90: The second generation XC90 is offered with the four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The 2.0-litre mill develops 225bhp and 470Nm with an astounding fuel economy of 17.2kmpl. - Jaguar F-Pace: The F-Pace made its Indian debut with two diesel engine options. The 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium engine makes 177bhp and 430Nm. - BMW X5: The Bavarian SUV comes with a 3.0-litre straight six diesel engine that makes 258bhp and 559Nm. The eight-speed automatic transmits the power to the xDrive – BMW’s all-wheel drive system and the X5 returns a fuel economy of 15.97kmpl. With a spacious and luxurious cabin and car-like dynamics, the X5 is a successful model for BMW in India.
- Audi Q7: The flagship SUV from Audi always had a cult following in India. The newest iteration wears the family face with Xenons, LEDs and matrix headlights. Under the hood is a 3.0-litre TDI diesel producing 272bhp and 600Nm. With an eight-speed automatic powering the Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system the Q7 offers a fuel economy of 14.75kmpl.
- Toyota Fortuner: The Fortuner has been the segment leader in hunky SUV segment in India. The all-new Toyota Fortuner is based on a new platform. - Tata Safari Storme: The brawny SUV from Tata now comes with a 2.2-litre Varicor400 engine. Power output of 155bhp and 400Nm, is set to either rear or all wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, the Safari Storme has a fuel economy of 13.9kmpl. The Safari Storme gets Harman music system, decent cabin quality and features like airbags and ABS.
- Porsche Cayenne: The Cayenne is something you get when a sportscar manufacturer tries its hands on building an SUV. Possibly the most sporty SUV of the list, also comes with an efficient and powerful 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing 245hp and 550Nm of torque and has an astonishing fuel economy of 13.88kmpl.
- Ford Endeavour: Ford’s flagship SUV – the Endeavour is known for its rugged built and brawny drive. The latest generation is offered with two engine options. The 2.2-litre four-cylinder unit produces 158bhp and 385Nm. With six-speed manual or automatic transmission, the Endeavour has an ARAI fuel economy rating of 13.5kmpl.
