The luxurious sedan from BMW marks the entry level luxury car of the German auto manufacturer. This car has been present in the domestic market for quite a few years and has been lauded by auto aficionados for its comfort and performance features. The car has been refurbished several times and its present version arrives with a 2.0-litre petrol engine along with the option of a 2.0-litre diesel mill. The former guise is available in only one trim , namely 328i Sport Line, while the latter comes in 4 variants namely, 320d, 320d Sport Line, 320d Luxury Line and 320d GT Luxury Line. This BMW car price falls under a bracket of Rs. 33.40 lakh – Rs. 42.70 lakh and faces stiff competition from the likes of Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Volvo S60.

This sedan is considered to be among the cheapest BMW cars in India and has been sold excessively for the same reason. The petrol engine of this car has the capacity to belt out a mammoth 245 bhp of power at a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which transfers all the energy to the rear wheels. The diesel mill, on the other hand has the ability to produce a power output of a commendable 185 bhp with maximum torque of 380 Nm. This engine is also mated to the 8-speed automatic gearbox, which turn the car into a rear-wheel drive. Astonishingly, the fuel economy statistic of both these guises is laudable, and is recorded at almost 15 kmpl in the petrol model and 18.88 kmpl in the diesel version.

Notably, Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of BMW cars in India and is present in almost all the big events organised by the German car maker. No show, be it an unveiling ceremony or the launch of an existing car in a new avatar, is complete without him. While receiving this car from one of her role models, Saina Nehwal was extremely delighted. The luxurious sedan is among the favourite choice for the prospective buyers and BMW car dealers in India agree with this fact. Auto Experts unanimously believe that this sedan has been one of the major contributors in stabilising the market presence of the company in the nation. In the coming years as well, it is expected that this sedan will continue to do wonders for the company.
