my new i10 car faced scrathes on both left & right door while parking.
showroom guy told scrath is deep & need to repaint both doors & cost ~20K.
Is it ok to claim for an insurance for ~20K within a purchase of 1 month OR shall i give it to local garage to clear the scrath?

I purchased a car i_10 fro AUSTIN HYUNDAI (em bye pass)ON 26TH Aug . and on 28th Aug the car faced an accident in which third party expired &my car got badly damaged. i broughtthe car to show room on 7th sept after getting it releasesd from SONARPUR PS.You Insurance company is badly insisting for DL OF DRIVER which Sonarpur PS has declined BUT THEY HAVE ISSUED seizure list which mentions about seizing of DL. Will i not get insurance benifit?

i have a query, i met with an accident 10 days back, after taking the car to the hyundai showroom , i was told that the approx cost will be 45000 (and i will have to pay 15000 , rest is cashless).on the day of delivery the company told me that overall bill is 54000 and out of that i will have to pay 20000 rs. when i asked for the amount details (how much was depriciated on each part), person concerned told that he cant give details (its only the surveyor who will be giving details ) and i have to deposit the amount now,.. on repeatedly asking him about details , on a paper he roughlytold me some confusing things. even the reciept given by them (of the 20000cash) was not bearing any company name etc.. on repeated asking finally he has put a stamp on the bill. i want to know that how will be able to know that the showroom people not cheating me (are they taking extra money from me,,,). if needed can i scan n send you the details of the bill and if you can tell me from that bill, the amount which i am supposed to pay

i hav a santro car n hav not taken any claim for last 4 yrs. now i am buying verna fluidic n want no claim bonus discount of santro on insurance of verna.is it possible. i will be keeping both the cars ,am not selling santro.

I have bought the used verna xxi from mahindra 1st choice goregaon mumbai, the car is under RTO transfer and just 3 days back car had an accident and i checked the reapairing cost would be around 70k.
I am not able to understand now how to claim it since mahindra guys are saying dont claim till the transfer is not done so will agin take 15days. I am in abig stress because 70k is a huge money and i have no knowledge of insurance.Insurance is of IFkO TOKYO

I have a new Hyundai I10 Car(1 year old, 2000KM Run), i am going abroad for 1 year and during this time i want to keep the car parked in my covered parking in society.
My question is, should i renew the insurance policy of this car whereas i know that the car will be off the road for next 1 year, it will be just parked in the parking, so is it ok NOT to renew the insurance policy??

I have a Santro XL model. While purchasing I opted for body color bumpers. In a recent accident, the bumper was damaged and when I submitted for insurance, they are refusing saying that the XL model doesn't come with body color bumpers. I don't understand the logic as the car was insured when it had body colored bumpers. Is the Insurance provider right?
