i have chevrolet beat car. I have done a minor accident .when i went to show room for insurance claim .show room manager told me that i have to pay Rs.1000. why i should pay this money.

How can I reduce the less amount on new purchase car from showroom.Please suggest me some tips on this issue.

my new i10 car faced scrathes on both left & right door while parking.
showroom guy told scrath is deep & need to repaint both doors & cost ~20K.
Is it ok to claim for an insurance for ~20K within a purchase of 1 month OR shall i give it to local garage to clear the scrath?

Hi Sir i have a pulsar 180 cc byke 2009 made and i have insured it with icicilombard till november 2012 full insurance yesterday i had a problem with leackage of petrol from the fuel tank due to rust and when i visited jai automobiles they say to put a new fuel tank which is 4800rs which is very high amount for me can any one suggest me can i claim my insurance to fix a new tank or i need to get it repaired ?

I purchased a car i_10 fro AUSTIN HYUNDAI (em bye pass)ON 26TH Aug . and on 28th Aug the car faced an accident in which third party expired &my car got badly damaged. i broughtthe car to show room on 7th sept after getting it releasesd from SONARPUR PS.You Insurance company is badly insisting for DL OF DRIVER which Sonarpur PS has declined BUT THEY HAVE ISSUED seizure list which mentions about seizing of DL. Will i not get insurance benifit?

I have a 4 dent in my Alto car. I am having TATA AIG car Insaurance.
When i reached in carnation for getting insaurance claim, the tata AIG employee checked my car and tell me that i would be only able to claim for one dent.
After all this he had given me an address from where i should correct my rest 3 dents.

I rejected his all offer and bring my car back at my home.

Please tell me how should i approach, so that i can get claim for all the dent in my car.

My car was waiting at a signal while another one came crashing into the rear of my car,causing great damage.
I have made him come with me to the police station and make a diary entry of the same.
I have applied for insurance claim, but my garage (Carnation Auto) says that I have to shell around Rs.12k for the same.
Though the person,who crashed into my car has told me verbally that he will clear the bills, what is the legal recourse I can take incase he refuses to pay?

I bought a new car and it met with an accident within three months. I did the actual formality of submission to Oriental Insurance Co with the FIR report. Our car dealer took the car from the accident spot & brought it back to their workshop. However, they are asking for front payment of 1 lacs to begin the repair of the vehicle. But our insurance covers 95% of the repair. Even though, they are still asking for the front payment. Please advise us regards of this matter,
