Our Fiesta Ford Car went for paid servicing to Gehlot FordAjmer who during servicing created excessive engine noise audible to any one else. But Both GFA and KSF at Jaipur refused to accept excessive noise at the instruction of Ford India Co. Is there any remedy or any provision of independent audit of this engine noise which will pass muster with even courts and Ford Company & Dealers. Pls advise soon. Thanks.

I wish to know how to tune the engine of Ford Ikon 1.3 CLXi(2002) for optimum performance and milage. The problem I am facing is that whenever I stop at a traffic signal and begin to move again, the car's accelerator doesnot respond. I need to just touch the accelerator for few seconds and then it starts to respond yet again.
Otherwise my car is giving me good service and I am owning it for the last 2 and 1/2 YEARS AND ITS GOING GREAT. It gives me about 12 kms in city and about 14-15 on the highway.

Ford Icon Jan 2010 diesel is my car.Problem is NOISE inside the car.When the car speed increase the noise will also increase.Company people find the fault is with wheel alignment, they corrected 2 times.But the noise is still there. Sir your advise Please .

I have a 1.4L petrol Ford Fiesta. RecommendedEngine oil by Ford for this car is Semi-Synthetic, Formula E SAE 5W-30 having specification WSS-M2C913-B. So, should I change the engine oil from Semi-Synthetic to Fully-synthetic. Please give me your guidance. Eagerly waiting from your response.

Hi,
I have purchased a Ford Ikon 1.3,Petrol,2001 modellast year( I am the third owner now ). It has run around 60000Kms. It has gas kit, but it is not working now( it gives back fire, I did n't know this at the time of buying.. ). The problem is its very less mileage. It gives around 7kms. Whether its mileage can be improved, if so to what level? I thought of selling the car, but people are asking for the half of the money which I had paid last year. So, I am thinking to keep the vehicle for 2 more years if its mileage improves.. Please suggest. thanks, Krishna
