I am planning to buy a car of diesel variant. My preference will be for the maximum milage per liter, price on road, and cost of running over the years. my list of cars is Maruti Desire, Skoda Fabia, Ford Fiesta, or Tata Indica Vista.
I am planning to spend between 5 to 7L for the car.

Will a second hand car be a good proposition? if so then which one?

With the optins mentioned and budget range.New Tata Indica vista would be the right selection for its updated features,style,build quality and reliability.
If you are planing to se the car few years and sell the car then you wil have plenty of options in used car. However goig for new car has the advantage of better newness,comfort,performance,warranty back up and cheaper maintenance cost during warranty period.
