Hi friends,

From many days & months i planning to go for used Sedan.I thought to go for Ikon diesel but now i am planning to go for Fiesta diesel because of its good mileage, performance, interiors and handling.I am having budget upto 3.5 lakhs. So can anyone please suggest me whether i am making correct choice or if you have any different vehicle which is better than Fiesta.I want good mileage with some good features and good looks and a bit maintainance.waiting for your reply.

Hi,
If youcan get a good conditioned Fiesta diesel version in the budget range then it would make a great choice.Alternatively recommended to check for used Accent CRDI.

I seriously doubt that you can get a good used diesel fiesta around 3.5 lakhs. Fiesta has a proven performance but believe me the maintenance cost is quite high.
Initial 1-1.25 lakhs of kms are trouble free, but after that I can assure you there will be some sort of expenses. There are almost no chances of getting a diesel fiesta with low mileage for 3.5.
Look out for Accent crdi with low mileage. Same goes for Accent crdi after 1-1.25 lac kms.
Ask your self do you really need a diesel car?
If your yearly running is restricted to say 15000-16000 kms go for petrol car.
I was in same dilemma, but as my yearly usage is around 11000 kms bought a used BALENO(2005) 26000 kms done , LXi for 2 lacs(single owner).

What abhijit said is absolutely correct .Try for Logan diesel it is best in the class and milage is same as fiesta and maintainence free also .Try for hyndai assent also. And for long drive logan is very good for stability and milage and saftey is also good. And logan is very cheap in market also

Well friend, I don't agree with those who have suggested you to go for a Accent CRDi simply because the model is discontinued from quiet some time and hence in case of any break down of the engine etc. you could face a few problems. Also at your budget it would be difficult to get a Ford Fiesta diesel unless it has been an accident vehicle or the car has had some major problem in it. So think twice before you make up your mind. Anyway since you are interested in a Diesel sedan, my suggestion to you is to dig in your pockets a little more and opt for a brand new Logan Diesel which would also keep your pockets full for the next 4 to 5 years as far as maintenance is concerned.
