Hw i can upgrade my YAMAHA FZ16's engine,coz I neeed sudden acceleration.What r the changes I can make for that?

FZ 16 performance is good and it may not be possible to improve pick up further.

If you took it to a racing mechanic, he or she will be able to carry out all the modifications like re-porting your engine, re-boring etc. It is possible to get more than double the power you are currently getting. Cheers.

Its very simple to hv good acceleration n thr are many ways also. U can bore ur engine n put pipercross air filter. In this way the valve, piston n silencer outlate will be modifiead bt this will cause u millage prob. If u want both millage n acceleration thn u can put filter with innitial chain sproket. Detona (Arround 5000rs), the racing kit of yamaha is having 42teeth sproket bt its not enough. If u do hv time call on 9172788992. the guy will help u to upgrade ur fz in just 7000rs including 44sproket, filter n imported plug n plug wire. If u want then he will manage a gd free flow silwncer muffler in jst 2-3000rs. its guranted that ur ride will rock. 200cc will loose if u ill race wid him

Try shifting to lower gears.....kidding Increase the air input and also the fuel ratio and you have it. Do not meddle with the sproket or the tyres . The manufactures know their job. Try driving under control and soon you will grow up to realise your school days were fun.
