I want to start a used car dealership. Are there any licenses etc. that one needs for this. Do any of the branded used car dealerships (maruti true value, mahindra first choice etc.) have franchisee models. When a used car dealer purchases a car from a seller what is the documentation required (does he have to transfer the registration on his name ?). Any other advise related to this business would be highly appreciated (I do not have any experience related to this field so, any information at all will be helpful).

Hi,
For starting a dealership you wil have to approach the Regional office of concerned manufacturer.They wil guide you with details such as initial deposit needed, infrastructure etc .After completing all formalities you can start dealership.
