Hi,
Going for CNG kit mainly depends upon usage, investment and availability of filling stations in nearby areas. If fitted it will be economical and cost perkm will come into effect after usage for around 25k km usage. You wil have to ensure good maintenance as the minor problems like starting, pickup arise as days progress. I am using Logan 1.4GLX & I also converted it to CNG in last Aug'2009 from then till now I run 25000Km (DELHI-SONIPAT DAILY 150 KM aprox). No complaint I found till now.
I don't know why company not recommending. Posted: 698 days ago |

I am per se against CNG retrograde fitments.OE fitments are okay since they take care of any lacunae in fitments of CNG kits even if they get it done from outside on contract basis.
I am also for a petrol fitted engine as compared to a CNG fitted enging, for the smoothness of running. So, my recommendation-no CNG fitment! Posted: 698 days ago |
