dear sir,
i have purchesed a car from bangalore with all the original documents from the owner. now i have given it to a rto agent to transfer it to my name. but it came to know that rto have missed the records of this car from thier file (the records which owner have given me are origianl it is confirmed no any issue with that). now agent is not giving proper respones owner is helping me to get it done. so please help me by all the details to get it done & how long it will take. regards, althaf

Hi,
There are many alternative files available with RTO to find out originality of the documents and the original documents are enough to find out records by the RTO with which the vehicle is originally registered. We recomend to approach personally to the RTO and get te same done. Please mention details like registered RTO and your contact details so that we can help better. Posted: 704 days ago |

thanks for your quick respones. sir it is registered in bangalore indra nagar RTO in the year of 30/08/1995.still the original documents are with agent(like Rc book,29&30 form,insurance). can you please tell me what are the requirments to do this. if you have any agent in bangalore can you recomend me please. regards, Posted: 703 days ago |

First thing to do is get back your orignals from the agent then you go your self and check out the details at the RTO you may have to spend half a day and spend some money but at least you will know the facts

SOME TIME HAPPENS LIKE IT .MY SUGGESTION IS ... 1// COLLECT UR RECORDS FROM AGENT LIKE RC INSURACE 29/30 ETC ..2//GO TO RTO KEEP ALL UR ABOVE DOCUMENTS WITH U ...AND APPLY TO GIVE CRT PARTICULAR OF UR CAR NO ..FOR IT MOSTLY 150RS RANGE CHARGED. U WILL GET CORRECT INFORMATION ..FOR IT U NO NEED TO GIVE UR RC BOOK ..
OTHER WAY .. IF CAR IS FREE FROM LOAN THAN U APPLY ANY OTHER RTO TO TRANSFER IN UR NAME WITH AFFIDAVID THERE WILL NO NEED TO SEARCH ANY OLD FILES << B RECRDS >> THEY WILL CREATE UR NEW RECORDS AND CHANGE IN UR NAME IMMEDIATE ..
