Dear Sir/Madam,
I am in a delima to buy a second hand Skoda Superb 2.8V6 or a second hand "C" / "E" class mercedes benz. I have been through different comparisons for the same and yet am a bit confused after reading most of the reviews for both. My requirement is an Automatic Transmission with substantial rear leg room, which i find a bit of a constraint in "C" class merc. I do not intend to buy any first hand as the current market scenario suggests that more and more manufacturers would be dumping in more and more advanced technology cars making decision makingh quite crucial and exhaustive. My belief is the near future (3-max 5 years) we would be having hybrid cars at quite an economical rate. I therefore decided to buy any of the above mentioned cars in order to obtain a good resale value as well as comfort and elegance. My minumum driving is atleast 50 kms/day partly on highways and partly in city. I am not much worried about the mileage aspects but would surely like to know what would be the maintenance cost for each of the above mentioned (taking into account the cars are dated for 2003-2005 year with approximately 30K kilometers driven) Kindly suggest / advise/help me for the same.

Hi,
After considering the details mentioned and parameters like availability in used car segment,price, resale value and most importantly comparitive maintenance costs, Skoda Superb would be a right selection when compared with used C class Benz.However E Class is far better than Skoda Superb and makes a great Luxury sedan.

In overall the right selection would be a Mercedes E Class provided cost is not a constraint and Skoda Superb will be best alternative.
