I was recently in Kerala where I met a TATA NANO owner who is known to my family. Her experience of the NANO is disappointing. North Kerala, where I am from, has a fair amount of hilly terrain and small roads. She said that on a full load of 4 people, at many places, the car does not seem to have enough torque to pull up inclines. She felt that sometimes the car may even stall on a sudden slope. I sat in the car with her and what she said seemed to be true, as there was a lot of revving of the engine, without discernible acceleration. Overall, a disappointing experience. Also, the suspension is very noisy.

I would like Car Trade to give a first hand report of Nano, as many people are waiting for the report.
It may not be an all road car,but,for a city drive, it may be good,but we have to get authentic fuel consumption reports.
Tata may not like their Nano owners to tell anything about the vehicle,as it may affect their future sale.Or they may be secretly improving the performance in the light of their adverse reports.
