Hi,
Considering the probable condition, there could be frequent brake down problems,need of repairing suspension etc.Also finding right mechanic and getting spares would take time time and hence repair time would be more.Overall its a risky selection.

BRO I KNOW INDIAS FIRST HOME MADE LUXURY CAR, HAS AN APPEAL BUT NOT WISE TAKING IT .UR BUDGET WUD B OVER BURDENED, MANUFACTURING STOPPED IN THE YEAR 1995,SO ANY CAR SPECIALLY DEISEL ENGINES AFTER 5 YEARS IS BETTER USED A DG SET.EVEN IF U HAVE AN ISUZU ENGINE ,STILL NOT WISE....................

dont u think u r expecting too much out of the 30k u want to put in for ur car ,contessa was a very good ,safe and reliable vehicle in its time ,i can assure u that if u buy a petrol version the engine will not trouble u but being a very heavy vehicle the suspension needs repair quite often and if u want to run it for a lac kms the petrol will cost u around 10 lacs as u cannot expect an fe of more than 6to 7kms per litre of petrol and at present rate its going to cost u around rs 10/per km ,better to book an indica at that cost and enjoy being driven by a driver..choice is urs.
