I purchased Maruti Ritz VDI in Dec 2010. its mileage is too low, now it is giving me 11 km per litre,,I had complained many times to Maruti but there is no proper reply, advise what to do ? I am planning to move consumer court.please advise

Hi,
The dealer service people have to give proper solution/explanation for all problems regarding vehicle.If not you can approach works manager and also complain to regional service manager of Maruti Suzuki.If not satisfied with responce then you can go to consumer court.

Instead of watsing time in approaching work manager, then regional manager etc. its BEST to go to Counsumer Court. The responces from the co. are very time consuing.

HI, if the dealer service people dont pay attention, better to move consumer court also why dont you get in touch with AUTOCAR INDIA, they could assist you for sure...I am regular reader of their magazine for years, I read how many people they help...give it a try and see if not move the consumer court

Go to a good service station and ask them to get the timing little advance with the help of there computer. Reprograming of ecu is required and little mechanical work,
This will definatelly work

Surprise my Ritz LDI, 2011 model give 21+ average with A.C. Something seriously wrong with your car our fuel that you use. Also check your fuel station. I have seen that fuel from good petrol pump raises your mileage to 5-6 kms.

Several factors affects your mileage. Driving conditions, appropriate air pressure in tyres, shifting gears on right RPM, right amount of throttle, sending your vehicle for servicing on right time, going to a good fuel station etc etc. As Raghuvendra said he is availing a very good fuel economy from his car and same can happen with you if you really take care of all these factors. So Sumesh this would be a bit early for you to go to a consumer court before you are perfect with all these and moreover Maruti is the most reliable brand in India and it takes care of its clients. Please bring this to Service manger and regional manager and inform them that if it is not getting solved then you would move to consumer court. All the best I hope this issue would sought out at the earliest.
