Hi,
I have decided to go for diesel car, My budget is between 550000 - 700000.
This is the first car for me, i have visited Maruti,Ford and Chevelet showrooms to see Ritz VDI,Swift VDI, Beat LT & and Figo Titaninum, I am not sure about more Technical aspects of the cars, Pls suggest which one would be good to go...

If you want for personal use the figo is great but if you will also use with family the Swift is good. But if you are always on the run and want to claim depreciation and sell the car after three years please buy the Beat with extended warranty, enjoy the expensive service of GM to the fullest...

The swift is the perfect car that you will get within your budget.I bought swift vdi last year and i have covered about 30000kms the car has no problems and gives me an average of 20 in city and 24 on highways.

The New Swift VDi is without doubt the best option available. However if you have a budget constraints then Figo is the next best choice with similar space and peformance. Ford would be launching an upgraded verion of Figo in August end too. Beat on the other hand would save a further 80000 upfront and is the most efficient of all.

Ya swift again...is d answer...just amazing car... I wil personally suggest swift...or Ritz ...d second option.... everything lyk swift..bt luks sum ppl doesn't lyk I don't know y...much more spacious....den swift....bt in India luks matters....3rd is beat....bt don't go for figo plzzzzzz

swift vdi is good but for same price you can find better vehicle with lot more additional features .please go through Nissan micra diesel and renault pulse diesel both have same renault 1500 cc renault engines which give excellent performance . figos suspension is poor u have to drive carefully over bumps.

Just take a test drive of the FIAT Punto diesel. You will be blown away..! Why buy the car i.e Swift Vdi that ever tom, dick and harry buys. Just get premium Punto which is only a bit more costly. It will be worth the money in terms of safety, ride, handling and styling.

Bro, choose between SUV, Mid-sized car and a Hatch-back car. I would suggest to you to choose between SUV and Hatch-car coz you can't get any a good highend car in sedan at your budget. So, in SUV's you have an option of buying a Bolero, but taking into consideration that this would be your first car, Toyota Etios Liva is the good option coz Swift has become common on the roads these days but Swift has no negative points against it. Choose between these two ones coz both of the manufacturers are the proven reliable ones.

i am suresh from Kakinada.Planning to buy tomy first Car.My Usage will be restricted to weekends and an approx. of 500 km monthly and a drive of 500 kms once in 2 months.
My budget is around 6 Lakhs.A max. of 7.5 lakhs.Hence i am looking for Sedans like Swift desire ,Honda Ameze ,Tata indigo Ecs ,Manza .Choverlet sail,Ford classic ,Hundai accent and Toyato Etos . I am unable to pick the correct sedan which is suit for my requirement. Diesel would cost a lakh more.And since my usage is limited, i feel diesel/petrol would not make much difference.
i have shortlisted Swift desire ,Honda Ameze ,Tata indigo eCS ,
Mileage of 18km in City and 21 on Highwayy would be good for me.
Please advise with your valuable experience

I am willing to buy sail sedan. However my onlyconcern is about it's petrol ingine as i am not sure about it's compatibility with CNG. I am willing to buy this car for at least next 10 years.
