I want to install a CNG kit in my Ford Fiesta car 1.6 . February 2008 model.
Can the experts suggest if installing the CNG kit in ford is a good idea. and Which brand of CNG kit would be best for the Ford Fiesta Petrol model ?
What would be the price for fitting the CNG kit?

Hi,
CNG kit can be fitted in Ford Fiesta and would fairly good performance ininitial usage.Later on maintenance problems like poor pick up, starting problemm could arise.Comparitive repair cost would be on higher side hence it wont be recommendable to fit CNG kit to Fiesta.

it would be a good option, i personally use mSequrnt and seriously it is a nice cng kit...
u can surely go for it, a kit with high performance..:)

Nair	Ford cars are not suited for conversion to lpg/cng etc. The ECU will fail after a short while and that is an expensive component of the engine. Posted: 267 day(s) ago

what about the option of LPG on the ford fiesta1.6 as my car is only giving me an average of 6 or less right from the time i bought it........i am really fed up of the fuel costs going up all the time.

surely u can go for cng conversion. I recently purchased a 2007 model fiesta 1.4 , the previous user had made a run of 65k kms on petrol. After the purchase i got a sequential kit installed in it. the conversion cost me around 45k inclusive of the RTO passing charges (done by the cng dealer). the car performance on CNG was same as it was on Petrol (no pick up loss).The next week i went to long drive to check the mileage and to my surprise i got shocking result, it had made a run of 145 Km on 3.98 Kg of CNG.
