Safari is good for mileage and scorpio is good for maintenance. Scorpio is not cost worthy. Safari will be use less after 60000 kilometers. I own a Tata Safari Direcore 3.5 year old and I have spend about 2.5 lakhs for maintenance for the last 1 year. Tried to exchange the car with a new Safari but the dealer priced my 3.5 year car only Rs.2.75 lakhs. That is Safari is a white elephant. You cannot use this more. And spend a lot to keep the white color on black elephant.
If you can rise the budget to 12 lakhs, buy a used Pagero.
