Which is a better suv to buy amongst TATA Safari, TOYOTA Fortuner,Mahindra n Mahindra Scorpio, Newly Force Motors SUV and CHEVROLET Captiva...I have to buy in 45 days

Preferred to be a diesel engine... daily running 100-120 km.
Also needs to with good suspension as will be majority used in urban areas for surveys.

Dear Sir,
I would suggest you to Pl seggregate your choice..coz Fortuner / captiva are a Premium SUV in India & rest two you have mentioned are Desi SUVs.

Out of the premium Fortuner always scores better...

As rightly said by Amit Fortuner first next comes Captiva which are luxury SUV's whereas Safari,Scorpio & new one (still not launched)of Force are medium segment SUV's so Fortuner is most highly prefered vehicle.

Boss you should know that TATA and Force etc. are Indian Jugads not S U V's or good Cars. Fortuner , Captiva are Models from world leaders and here you are comparing them with desi vehicles who are not even indian Leaders.
Plese go ahead check your purse and Decide between the world leaders only.

it totally depends on your budget .im having three suv's in different price range ,tata safari ,ford endv ,bmw x5 petrol.for every day usage i find safari the best .if you want to buy an suv within 13 lacs on road then safari is a better choice otherwise if your budget permits then go for fortunner or ford endv ,i find fortunner better ,even though i dont own one.

The price range o models mentioned varies from 10 to 23 lakh.The selection mainly depends upon budget range. Considering budget of around 20 lakh, Fortuner would be better.

Then I would like you to bring your imported world leaders SUV for an off roading adventure and I will bring my 2005 TCIC SAFARI which has already clocked 225Kms and beat your imported SUV Black and BLUE.

ALWAYS REMMEMBER MAHATMA GHANDI WAS AN INDIAN who started SWADESHI MOVEMENT> If a person like ANNA starts it again then either you will have to run to Japan, Germany, UK or US to drive the so called world's best SUV.

I agree Totally with Vineet Kaushik and Rony.Both the indian Products are Engineered Products an billions spent on R & D. They are not jugaads. I have owned both teh tata and now drive a scorpio for last five years. I think they are world class and are superb value for money especially the M- HAwk Engined Scorpio. Get your Facts right Mr. Casshyap. Drive the cars adn then see for yourself. Other cars may be better but they are also twice as expensive. Our Indian cars give you full value for the money spent.

Sanjay Casshyap Indian cars are much better. Remember there are a lot of Fiat Palio's rotting in garages & on the road sides. My answer to the question is Bolero the Chetak (Scooter) among SUV. Ask any owner or mechanic about the vehicle.But if one has more money and wants to show it too well !!!

I am not agree with your coments as a woner of Mahindra Xylo I have bad experience about the worst quality of Mahindra Products, My car Run only 18000km and the Intercooler brackets get broken and lead to burst the Intercooler and then thouwn out the entire engine oil out of the engine and above this the spare intercooler is not available with dealer as well as manufacturing factory , I had immmobilized my car for 19 days.

If you see Toyota fortune it's not worth paying 23L. It has just given a heavy look from out side.

But if you look at tata safari it has many features such as heavy look, can go on any kind of roads, very very spacious, with all features of fortuner providing. What else you need in 14L.

Go personally and see both the car then you will know.
