WHY CAR MANUFACTURERS ARE AFRAID F LAUNCHING STATION WAGON TYPE ( ESTATE WAGON ) CARS IN INDIA. ONLY INDIGO MARINA IS AVAILABLE IN ITS OLD FORMAT.SIENNA WEEK END, PALIO ADVENTURE,CORSA SWING,BALENO ALTURA ARE PHASED OUT, OCTAVIA COMBI IS NOT YET LAUNCHED, FABIA COMBI STILL NOT DECIDED. CAN SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT SHOULD ONE DO IF HE LIKES TO PURCHASE ESTATE ONLY. WHY TATA IS NOT LAUNCHING ESTATE ON INDIGO eCS OR MANZA PLATFORMS.

i think you have wrong info on skoda octavia combi as it was lauched years ago and discontinued as per my information. estate vehicles are not like by indian people as you yourself has given many cars name who weren't success here.

i am suresh from Kakinada.Planning to buy to myfirst Car.My Usage will be restricted to weekends and an approx. of 500 km monthly and a drive of 400 kms once in 2 months.
My budget is around 6 Lakhs.A max. of 7.5 lakhs.Hence i am looking for Sedans like Swift desire ,Honda Ameze ,Tata indigo Ecs ,Manza .Choverlet sail,Ford classic ,Hundai accent and Toyato Etos . I am unable to pick the correct sedan which is suit for my requirement. Diesel would cost a lakh more.And since my usage is limited, i feel diesel/petrol would not make much difference.
i have shortlisted Swift desire ,Honda Ameze ,Tata indigo eCS ,Manza .Choverlet sail,Ford classic ,Hundai accent and Toyato Etos
Mileage of 18km in City and 21 on Highwayy would be good for me.

i am Santhosh from Bangalore.Planningto buy to my first Car.My Usage will be restricted to weekends and an approx. of 500 km monthly and a drive of 400 kms once in 3 months.
My budget is around 3.5 Lakhs.A max. of 4 lakhs.Hence i am looking for a petrol hatchback not older than 2010 and within 50,000 km mileage.Diesel would cost a lakh more.And since my usage is limited, i feel diesel/petrol would not make much difference.
i have shortlisted Hyundai i10,Chevrolet Beat,Maruti A-star,Ritz and Ford Figo.
Mileage of 15km in City and 18 on Highwayy would be good.
Please advise with your valuable experience.

I am from mumbai and own a hyundai i20 petrol, theaverage on the car is quite low compared to other hatchs, the company warranty has now expired and i wish to install a cng kit in the car, pls help me with
1) is it advisable to install one of these for the car, will it hamper the performance in any way?
