Maintenance of Safari is relevent to the price of the car. Not too high. With Safari you can get mileage of around 8 to 10KMPL max.

i'm getting around 10 to 12 kmpl my 2yrs old 1.76lac kms run safari .as far as maintainance is concerned who are the people who find its maintainance high generally who are driving 800cc t0 1200cc hatch its natural that you have to spend more for maintaining a safari ,as far as comparision with scorpio is concerned its like comparing anm800 to a swift ,safari is a far more comfortable and spacious vehicle intits clas pls do not be mislead by people who have just seen or heard about this king of the road, its more a matter of envy.

Maintenance is little expensive but if you do servicing properly cost of maintenance will be economical.
Regarding Mileage i am getting 10 Km/Liter.Never less then this some time more even.
