Pls suggest which is better., Chevrolet cruze / Toyota corolla altis considering diesel variants., in terms mileage, performance, maintanence cost and overall..

Cruz is the best one it pumps 150BHP, but Altis pumps only 83BHP. Cruz has got more power, performance and now chevy car maintainence is not costly.

I own a chevy optra LT Magnum diesel and is very great on power and fuel efficiency. Chevy cruze is owned by my brother, So Cruze or Optra Diesel a good buy i suppose.E

Cruz certainly is a better option, it has a much stronger engine, better features and impressive looks. Althouh the Corolla Altis Diesel is good but just imagine paying the same price as Cruz for 1.4 engine against 2.0 L and ofcourse the power. The mileage is also more or less similar. The Altis diesel should have been priced much lower then it would have been value product.

Cruze is the way to go.. There is no other option, really. I don't know why Toyota is even launching the 1.4L Diesel Corolla, except to cater to the luxury taxi fleet market or for die-hard Toyota aficionados.

want to drive in sportz mode ,blindly choose to cruze its a beast and can be tamed by only the hot blooded.want decent chfr driven car with economy and reliablity go for altis ,toyota's diesels are famous world wide ,what ive disliked about the altis diesel is the unattractive black front grill which looks like a low end taxi,but that can be my personal opinion.

How on earth did you think of comparing Altis and Cruze. The diesel in Altis can be compared to Punto's diesel engine of 93 bhp. It is just about 84 bhp vis a vis 150 bhp of diesel power of the Cruze.
The styling, power delivery, fuel consumption, interiors and to a certain extent handling... all favour the Cruze. Regarding maintenance, it is better to go for kinda AMC with the company. Happy Motoring. Posted: 509 days ago |
