Hi,
In the price range mentioned, and for good mileage.Maruti Suzuki Alto would be a optimum selection. Posted: 540 days ago |

In your budget the 2 best cars are the Maruti Alto K10 Vxi and Hyundai Santro Xing GLS.If you are generally alone in the car and space is not much of a concern then Alto is good enough but if you want more space then I feel a Santro is the best car in your budget.

Buddy, for your usage of 80 kms per day, I would suggest you go for a diesel. Either the Vista base model (if TDi is available in your city)or the Ford Figo Diesel. Your budget will be stretched a little bit, but both these cars are excellent for your daily running cost!

Hi,
Better go with either Alto K Series or i would strongly suggest to go with Hyundai I-10 with Kappa Engine as it's very smooth & good @milage. Don't think about diesel cars as diesel cars are not as smooth as petrol cars ( On long going / aging), initially u will feel the savings but while paying for the service, u will feel it's a big burden. For a budget of 3 - 4 lakhs on road for a new car, you have atleast 3 Good Options - Alto K10, Chevrolet Spark and Chevrolet Beat (around 4.1 Lakh on road). If you are not very tall, then Alto K10 is the best bet in terms of reliability, service, fuel efficiency and cost. If you are on the taller side, Alto may not be very comfortable. Then eat would be a good choice. Test Drive the cars before deciding.
